The grinding balls are cut from high-carbon manganese cold-drawn steel wire and then roll-ground and chamfered to form nearly spherical particles. They are solid throughout, eliminating the porosity and hollow defects found in cast steel balls. The edges of the particles are rounded, providing a gentle impact that won't scratch precision components. With excellent toughness, they will only gradually wear down and become smaller during use, making them less prone to breaking and ensuring a service life far longer than traditional steel shot. Less dust reduces the wear and tear on the consumable parts of the shot blasting machine, resulting in a uniform metallic finish on the processed workpieces. It is primarily used for shot peening and strengthening of springs, gears, fasteners, automotive parts, and wind power components. It is also suitable for smoothing and deburring precision castings.
